Junk Email Advice to People Responsible for Departmental Email Servers Novell

If you are responsible for a Novell server running the Mercury software, limiting the address range can be achieved within the configuration file. The following lines should be present in the [MercuryS] section of the configuration file in the following order.

accept 147.188.0.0
refuse 0.0.0.0

John Turnbull (3989) can give help and advice on how to do this if necessary. Servers which use the older Charon gateway method of receiving email are not affected by this particular problem. As far as we can determine, current versions of Mercury do not support the user%site1@site2 method of relaying email.
