Mailing Lists at the University of Birmingham User Guide Mailbase Commands

Majordomo has been modified locally to recognise some mailbase commands (eg. join, leave, listme, password) as synonyms for equivalent majordomo commands. These were added to assist some people who may mistakenly use mailbase commands. Not all mailbase commands are recognised and the ones which have been added are not officially supported. Whilst these will be retained if they cause no problems, there is no guarantee that any of these will be available in the long term so you are advised to use the majordomo commands in preference to these.
